Creating experiments that are useful to Insecta is Othmer's dream. He'd spend all day working on his projects if he could! Between taking care of his cousin and working at Errol's factory however, he doesn't get much time for himself. Someday he hopes to forge a new life once his experiments are successful.
Marigold Wilt

Likes: painting, reading, and pressing flowers. Dislikes: messes/sloppiness.

A sweet and caring beetle, Marigold can always be counted on to try to keep the peace between her friends. Marigold enjoys her job at the pencil factory and supports her husband's goals as well.
A dependable coworker, Marigold is always ready to lend an ear or help her friends with any problem.
Cloyce Russey
Birthday: September 27th Age: 27
Likes: hanging out with Othmer and Marigold, arts and crafts. Dislikes: being alone, working.

Othmer's cousin Cloyce had a spoiled upbringing. This resulted in a toon who'd rather laze the day away than support himself with a meaningful job. He doesn't understand Othmer's ambitions at all, but enjoys spending time with him as often as he can (even if it interrupts Othmer's work).
Errol Short
Birthday: January 1st Age: 37
Likes: music, crossword puzzles, his job, pencils. Dislikes: science, history, and flowers.

Errol's company, Short Pencils, is his pride and joy. The best part about it is that his closest friends work with him. Protective of his employees, Errol can't think of anything worse than his friends leaving Short Pencils!
Claudette Coyle
Birthday: October 20th Age: 26
Likes: jokes, cats, and pestering Othmer. Dislikes: boring and gloomy days, work.

Claudette is Errol's best friend and right-hand jokester. While she doesn't love her job at Short Pencils, she sees it as an opportunity to pull pranks, flirt, and tease Othmer. Not one to take things too seriously, Claudette would rather gossip than work!
Preston MacGee
Birthday: August 31st Age: 25
Likes: the news, interrogating toons, his job. Dislikes: sassy retorts and boring interviews.

Preston might not be a seasoned reporter for his newspaper, The Daily Daisy, but he's a respected one. His tough, get-it-done attitude allows him to not get intimidated easily.
